A bassa energia Neutrino Violazione del tempo Ioni pesanti

The detector of NA48 Fixed target experiments can collect a very large number of interesting collisions, as the density of atoms in a heavy target is very high . This is important in searches for very unlikely events or when large numbers of events are needed. The price to pay is that only a fraction of the incoming energy is spent creating new particles.

At CERN fixed target experiments use primary beams of protons, and all sorts of secondary beams are used such as pions, muons and neutrinos.
